The Secret Place

Posted in Christian fantasy fiction with tags , , , , , , , on November 12, 2015 by eliseway

After discovery of my purpose in my thirties, I have to the realization that God continues to desire for use to go into deeper realms and dimensions in Him. Once I had a desire to know the more of God, the pursuit became a passionate discovery of know who God really is and how He desires for us to seek Him. There’s a secret place in God that He wants us to dwell and remain in order to fulfill the divine purpose He has for us to accomplish. It is a place that demands a continuous, constant and intense prayer life. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). The more you seek God, the more God takes you beyond all your five senses to a place that eyes have not seen nor ears have not heard…..”(! Corinthians 2:9). Since it is a secret place meaning it must be sought after and pursued until it is found. God was us to seek Him until He is found and reveals His Glory to you. Let’s breakdown what’s in the Secret Place. In Psalms 91:1 explains the secret place in “whoever dwells in the secret place of the Most High God shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” This scripture explains that God looks for whoever or whomever whether it’s male or female to seek Him out. God dwells in a place that flesh cannot enter nor iniquities can be part of. People profess to want the more of God but think it is through works in the church or ministry. You cannot enter God’s Secret Place through works alone. Going through the motions of seeking God through the works of the flesh denies you access to the Glory of God which houses the anointing and the Glory of God. Just by coming to church, raising your hands, giving God the praise and responding enthusiastically to the Word of God does not give you access to the Secret Place. Doing works in the ministry and publicly through prayer, preaching and laying of hands alone doesn’t give you access to the Glory of God. These works alone are the manifestation of seeking God and abiding in the Secret Place. Works of God that bring no Glory to Him but glory to your flesh and ego are dead and unfruitful. This is why the Pharisees and Sadduccees never operated in the Power of God like Jesus did because they thought their works in the Kingdom of God granted them access to God’s Secret Place. If that was the case, why would God call it a secret place but a public place if it was so accessible to us. Then all of us would operate in the power of God and His Anointing in its fullness. Next blog is going to about how Jesus entered The Secret Place in God.

The Spirit of Accusation: Dealing with Persecution, Negative Words and Disparaging Comments

Posted in Christian fantasy fiction with tags , , , , , , , , , , on September 1, 2014 by eliseway

In this life, I have come to realize that you are not going to be able to please everyone all the time. People are constantly going to have something to say or complain about something that you are doing is wrong. I come to realize the Enemy will use people, situations, and things that is suppose to destroy or diminish your influence among other people. Especially if your influence is positive in nature and persecution comes through a spirit of intimidation and jealousy even during Jesus Christ time. People who are insecure or feel inept will try to destroy other people in order to look better. The Pharisees and Sadducees tried their best to ridicule, demean and make accusations toward Jesus Christ who would always respond using wisdom and The Word of God. That is why it’s important the words that come out of mouth can destroy and hurt people and you can’t take them back. God wants us to tame our tongues and use His Wisdom to speak to people. The Spirit of Accusation goes to and fro trying to accuse others of wrongdoing in order for us to condemn ourselves and quit doing what we are doing for God and His People. The most unlikely people can say the most cruel and hateful words that if you are not careful, they can get into your heart and spirit planting a poisonous seed that could hinder God working through and in our lives. The Devil constantly accuses us of doing wrong things so we can feel so condemned that we quit everything including serving God. In dealing with people with accusatory spirit is to actually pray and not respond in a reactive way. It is easy to give people a piece of our mind and do what my mother would have done, confronted them all the way. I am not going to lie, it’s hard not to turn the other cheek but now I understand what Jesus meant by that. Turning the other cheek doesn’t mean just literally not to hit someone back but to keep your mouth closed and not retaliate when someone comes at you with words or deeds that are negative in nature. Allowing God to do the payback for us always is better and turns for our good. Negative words may hurt but adding fuel to the fire with more negative words only causes more offenses and hurt to arise which is exactly what The Enemy wants us to do which is to fight each other and never unify together. Prayer is the key to destroy the Spirit of Accusation and get past what folks say for if they did to Jesus, they are going to do it you. When you realize that you are here to please God and not Man, words will not hurt or affect you because you know people aren’t going to always have something nice to say or be pleased with you. When you truly get past what people think, you are truly free indeed.

New Year, New Challenges

It’s been a while since I posted but more interesting posts will be coming more often now.I’ve experienced some interesting turn of events especially during the Christmas season.Between getting my hours reduced at work which means reduced pay, many fiery darts and trials were taken to the volcanic levels.I still have hope and assurance that God is going to deliver me from every attack, every spirit and every opposition that comes my way.I blog alot about spirits and the spirit world for not for entertainment purposes but for people to be aware that sometimes the stuff we are going through is not our fault but the spirits and wicked people are behind the storms and tribulations.I was attacked during Christmas shopping season with the spirit of betrayal and could identify the spirit in order to pray against it.This spirit if not dealt with can make you angry, bitter, resentful and want to retaliate.Especially when the betrayed was someone you thought had your back and was fair in dealing with you.Every spirit I write about is to help you identify the attack or what’s going on spiritually with your situation so you can fight back with prayer not your fists or some choice words that does more harm than good. The next blog, I’m going to discuss the destructive spirits including the Spirit of Apollyon that had been released in this end times to destroy people bodies, minds and souls. This is the time and season to watch and pray like never before.

Defeating the Spirit of Slothfulness, Spiritual Apathy and Just Plain Lazy

Posted in Christian fantasy fiction with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 31, 2013 by eliseway

Now on the last blog, I talked about how people tend to give up when the going gets tough and miss out on the great reward and victory that comes in God through the suffering days. Suffering is more than just physical but you can be mentally and spiritually be worn out from the trials and tests that come. The Enemy tries to bring extra obstacles and hindrances our way to exhaust and wear us out to want to give up through discouragements, delays, and setbacks. Sometimes we are extra tired, extra exhausted, feet hurting, headaches, money woes and such because of lazy, indifferent, and selfish acting folks. When a person isn’t doing their part spiritually or naturally because they don’t feel like doing it, it makes other people have to compensate and do more because of their slackness. It’s bad already when folks quit and decide to do their own thing because God’s Way requires us to have a longsuffering and patience in the storms of life. What makes it even worse when you got slothful acting people thinking that doing little or nothing at all is going to suffice especially in the things of God. The Lord kept on putting the word slothful in my spirit in identifying people who just seem to do the bare minimal and lie that they are doing more than they actually aren’t doing. I decided to look up the word because slothful tends to be synonymous with lazy or what my mom would call “just sorry” folks. One of the definition it gave was spiritual apathy and indifference which is how some people in the Kingdom of God tend to act when it comes to serving, helping, and doing their share in helping meet the needs of God’s people and lost souls. These are the people that tend to say all the stuff they did all day and how they are so tired, but can chill and watch TV or movies all day. This isn’t just a one day occurrence but how is everyday you tired, everyday you got to rest, and everyday you can do nothing for nobody else nor find yourself in the church house. But you can go to the movies, go shopping, talk  on the phone all day, and go to restaurants to eat but you can help out on occasion because you so tired. These are the people that love to not only park on your dime but use your dime so they can continue to do whatever they want to do with their time, talent, and money. The Spirit of Slothfulness comes around people who have way too much idle time on their hands and need to busy themselves in working for God, their dreams and goals, and helping make the world a better place. No one can ever say that there is nothing to do because there is always something to do whether it’s spiritual or natural. Now  this slothful spirit loves to operate in our fleshly tendencies and urges the person to give into their flesh instead of being led by the spirit. The more that person operates in the flesh the less spiritually led they become and begin to put back on the old nature of man that they previously had been delivered from by God’s transformation power. Eventually the person can get slack on praying, seeking God, nor being disciplined in doing the things of God including going to church services.  If they do go to church its just to not look bad after missing church quite often. But then have the nerve to get offended or upset when you tell them that they need to do more, pull their weight, and stop acting lazy. Trust me, there are times this flesh cries out because it’s tired and want to lay down. I would love a day where I can come home, lay down and just sleep to do absolutely nothing, but that doesn’t work in the real world not even in Alice in Wonderland.  For those with family , financial, job, and spiritual obligations and responsibilities, the only time you can get a break is if you take a vacation or a few days off to recover and get back in the race again. Those who are lazy tend to be selfish acting as well because they don’t take the initiative to meet the needs that they see without someone having to tell them. My mother instilled in me the habit of taking the initiative and identifying needs and trying to meet them. People shouldn’t have to tell you about your obligations and responsibilities. Some folks have selective memory and pretend like they don’t see it or simply don’t care because somebody else is going to take care it. In order to defeat the spirit of slothfulness, one has to pray and then confront the person in a gentle way on why they aren’t doing what they need or suppose to do to lighten the burdens and loads of responsibilities. The goals is to get that person to become more spiritual minded and stop operating in a carnal mentality. Slothful folks have carnal behaviors and ways because they are allowing the flesh to dictate their every action which is to do little to nothing as possible. Or they do a whole lot of stuff for show to make it look like they are productive and then it slowly siphons back to doing nothing again. Productive pretenders is what I call them that seem like they are making things happen but then you find out their is some fluff and filler with the realness meaning they really haven’t done anything at all and get mad or jealous at folks who are really productive. Prayer is the key to keeping that flesh in control and dying to its call to get you to do nothing but want you feel like doing.

That Power!

I want to express my gratitude for people who can handle fiery trials and pressures with a good spirit and not want to resort to using profane language or visiting happy hour(not Sonics) to wash down the stress. I had a profound statement given to me by a young 24 year old gentlemen who lost his entire family at the age of 12 but managed to pursue a college, football career and teach youth about making good decisions. What he said to me made me think about how its important to not let any circumstance or what you go through make you start acting like a plum fool even when you have every right to do so. The young man said that in every situation or circumstance that we go through in this life is 10%what happened but the other 90% is how you respond to it. He said that your attitude is going to determine how you handle the situation in a positive or negative manner. Sometimes our breakthroughs and miracles in God come from having a good attitude and not wanting to fussticate ( complain and gripe without using bad words). In every situation that we go through, we do have choice on how we respond to it and the I always believe that the true essence of that person will be revealed in the midst of a trial or crisis. Meaning, you will know who that person truly is that’s not hiding behind a smile, good works, good talks, good blogs, or preaching the gospel. That can be scary when you thought the person was inherently good and had a good spirit until the trials of life start putting some fire on their behind and you start seeing a crybaby, Linda Blair from The Exorcist, or having a pity-me party. I have come to realize that not everyone responds to the storms of life with a positive or joyful look which comes from prayer. Without prayer, you are going to be cuckoo for cocoa puffs with the way this life throws curveballs and knocks you literally downs sometimes. If I didn’t talk to God and allow Him to strengthen me and encourage with His Word, I could easily be having a sip of Mojito at Pappasitos(good mexican food, people really go their to drink) and saying,”Bump this!” You will have notions to want to quit, thrown in the towel or gripe about how what happen to you isn’t fair but its doesn’t change the situation. One thing I have realized is that you have to change how you handle the situation because some things will be out of your control. Life is unpredictable and changes quickly but one thing is for certain, my attitude makes the difference. Don’t think you won’t have moments of wanting to go to an island, leave everything, and eat on the land but embrace every circumstance as a chance to get stronger and develop a better character.God will give you the strength to endure things that most people would be in those special places with straightjackets sipping on special KoolAid because they couldn’t handle it. I always believe that God knows each person can handle and allows these situations to arise to bring out the greatness that He knows lies within us. He also likes to test us to see where we are spiritually and where we need to be matured or developed in some areas. I maybe feeling like this situation is not right and wondering will I make it through it but when it’s over, I told God that if this is what it takes to be better, stronger, and anointing, “I’ll pay it gladly” (quote from movie,”Equilibrium” with Christian Bale). Which brings me to a song that was quite positive that I heard from Will I Am with Justin Beiber called “That Power,” that you got the power to get through anything and whatever comes your way should make you stronger to overcome.

Now, I love watching shows when people do makeovers concerning their clothes and how it helps transforms their lives and those around them for the better. Sometimes, these people are reluctant to give up their scantily clad or must have found off the side of the street clothes because it means they have to give something up. People do judge other folks by the way they dress especially if one wants to become gainfully employed. Now, when it comes to dressing for church, let’s go over some stylish tips that will help you dress as unto the Lord and not unto World of religion. If you follow this advice, you will be looking fabulous and free in GOD.

Tip#1 No makeup does not mean you are holy.

Tip#2 Purchase the perfume of “Prayer”. God loves that scent.

Tip#3 Detox your heart to breath more of God’s Love.

Tip#4 To lose heavy weight or false burdens, go on a great diet called “The Fast”

Tip#5 Take your body on special feedings on the appetizing “Word of God”

Tip#6 If all else fails, get your Praise ON!

Demonic Possession and The Demon of Destruction

Posted in Christian fantasy fiction with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 9, 2013 by eliseway

One of the movies that is out is called The Host which was written by our very famous author Stephanie Meyers of the Twilight romance books about vampiric and werewolf demons galore. Well, The Host is about aliens overtaking people’s bodies internally and slowly taking over their conscious mind as well as their personality. The thing that about The Host is that one girl refuses to be overtaken by the alien and spends the rest of the movie refusing to completely taking over by the alien. Now think of this in terms of demonic possession and how demons look for people who are what they called empty vessels and don’t have the Spirit of God dwelling on the inside of them. Even after that person might have had evil spirits cast out of them, if they don’t get the Holy Ghost, more evil spirits and demons are coming to invade that person’s vessels again. Evil spirits and demons look for hosts or humans with empty vessels to dwell, and overpower do they can do their evil bidding in the earth realms. As you can see sadly on the news that people are getting killed, raped, abducted, and murdered like never before because of demonic possession. Remember that people who don’t have the Holy Ghost dwelling on the inside of them can become possessed and the most rampant demon that is inhabiting people is the Demon of Destruction. This demon invades a person body and completely take over their personality in order to murder, kill, destroy, and eliminate humans. If you have noticed the bombings, the murders, and the deaths of people, this demons is trying to kill people and make sure they don’t know about God or Jesus to avoid not waking up in Hell with their souls damned. Once a human is possessed by this demon, it will take the Power of God that Jesus had to deliver them from this demon because it takes over the person body, mind, soul, and spirit. You wonder why people say that the person never used to act like that then all of the sudden they go on a killing spree. That only means that the mind has been controlled, twisted and governed by demons and evil spirits ready to act out what they have been commission by Satan to do which is to kill, steal, and destroy by any destructive means necessary. There have been so many demons unleashed during this end times that if you aren’t praying now, you better pray like your life literally and spiritually depends upon it. I read a sad story about a young teacher who chokes and dies at a game eating a hot dog which makes me realize that tomorrow truly may not be promised and we have to be watchful and prayerful like never before. You got men abducting and raping young girls, men shooting their wives and children, and people bombing at marathons which shows that demons are act work like never before and we need divine protection from God through prayer and spiritual warfare. We must become fully aware of the schemes, plans, plots, tricks, and wiles of the Enemy at all times and declare war in the spirit realm through powerful prayers that reach the nations. This is the time to pray of regions, territories, lands, people, countries, the President, and our families because Satan isn’t playing fair nor have any favorites. We must unleash the Power of God upon this Earth to destroy the demonic works of the Enemy by any means necessary.
